Daniell Middle School implements a BYOD pilot program with specific rules and expectations for student devices. Students are responsible for their devices, which must remain either on them or secured in lockers. Phones must be silent and used solely for instructional purposes during school hours. Sharing devices is prohibited, and students must follow designated device-free zones. Devices should be fully charged at home, connected only to the CCSDBYOD Wi-Fi, and students are responsible for knowing how to operate their devices independently. No tech support will be provided by the school.
