  2. To ensure that all students have the chance to learn and grow, teachers need to establish clear classroom rules and expectations. What are some ways to inform students of the rules and expectations in your own classroom? One way is to create an informative and entertaining multimedia presentation.

  4. Attendance • You are expected to come to class every day. • You are expected to come to class on time. • You must bring a note from your parent if you are absent or late.

  5. Participation • You are expected to participate in class discussions. • You must raise your hand if you have a question or an idea to share. • You must listen to the questions and ideas shared by other students.

  6. Homework • All homework must be turned in at the beginning of the class session when it is due. • For each day an assignment is late, your grade will drop one full letter grade or 10 percentage points.

  7. Assessments • Students must complete all assessments. • Assessment maybe rescheduled only in the event of serious illness or a family emergency.
