12. STORY A Bad Case of Stripes is an interesting book.The author of this story is David Shannon. The genre is fiction. The main character is Camilla. The setting is there house. In this story Camilla gets a bad case of stripes. Nobody knows how she got this way. But then she eats lima beans and becomes normal again. This book is like me because I can get sick also. The worst time I got sick was when I had salmonella. This book relates to other books because there are girls in other books. One book is Percy Jackson. This book relates to the world because there are Lima beans in the world. The main place for lima beans to grow is on a farm Camilla reminds me of the 2 weeks I had salmonella. It was terrible. I missed 2 weeks of school. I had tons of homework. When it was over I felt way better.

13. STORY • Don’t Kill the Ant • By: Christian Spence • Why would you want to kill the ant? He is an innocent little creature. WOW!!!!!!!!! It would be mean to kill the ant, and he may haunt you when he’s dead. • If you were the ant would you want to die? Love your enemies. He has a life too. No matter how small they have a heart. I bet he doesn’t want to kick the bucket. • I mean, it’s not like he has spiky plates on him, and he’s not as fast as a cheetah. He wants to live a long life too. If he had a lot of muscles, he would be able to block your shoes. His feelings are strong too. • He may just be an ant, but it’s a big loss for his colony. His soul is needed. Without him, it’s one less ant for his colony. Larvae need him in their colony. • Your shoe will have ant all over it. If you follow your friends you’ll get in trouble too. Say your friends jumped off a cliff, would you do it too?

14. STORY • By: Christian Spence • I admire my dad because he saved me from floating off into the sea for the rest of my life. This is how it happened, I was in one of those donut looking tubes, and it was sonic silver. And I started day dreaming, and when I woke up I was at the buoy, I was like what? And my dad saw me and he swam as fast as a shark over to me and saved my life. Ever since then I have admired my dad and I’ve had a fear of those donut looking tubes. That is one of the reasons I admire my dad. Another reason I admire my dad is because he’s just cool, But mainly because the sea ocean thing. It was as scary as being in the hospital. • I also look up to his company because they give my family money. His company is Ariba. Someday I want to work there for a little bit. Another reason I admire my dad is because he has a sports car .that is my hero.

16. STORY • My Favorite Vacation • By Christian Spence • September 14, 2010 • My favorite vacation was we went to Disneyland. It was AMAZING! First we got on the Mickey Mouse train. We rode on it to Disneyland. After that, we got our apartment room. It was awesome. • When we got settled in I realized we were right next to the big pool. I was very glad. The next morning I got dressed. After that I ate breakfast. Then my sisters woke. I was very excited. • Then, we went to the pool. It was incredible. I don’t know how they made it. After that, we got out of our swimsuits and went on the ride Grizzly Hunt. It was outstanding. It was my favorite ride. Then we went on the Teacup ride. It was not my favorite ride at all. When it was finally over, we went to a toy store I forgot the name of it. I did not buy anything. After that Sara Jane went on Yeti Tracks. The ride was as tall as a giant. She loved it so much that Annie did it too. That was the best vacation.

Nobody was there until … • On Planet Bloooooooy There are Marshinies. I met Blonk the Marshinie. He was standing right next to me, so he was screaming. He was so pale I thought he was going to kick the bucket. He said he couldn’t build a rocket, so I had to help him build it. • When we finished, he took me back to Earth. He gave me super powers. I got the super powers super strength and the power to fly. The flying helps alot. Super strength is ok. It was amazing but I couldn’t on that planet. That was my adventure. AlthoeBlonk looked weak , he grew a lot of mussels.

Fiction is the genre. 2 of the main characters are The Pain and the Great One. There house is the setting. In this story a girl has a brother and a sister. Her brother always gets his way. To her he was as annoying as a rat. Though her sister is just plain annoying. I think she wishes she could warp to no brother or sister. • This book relates to me because I have a sister also. Other books relate to this book because they can have annoying people in it too. Boys are in the world too so it relates to the world. • When I read this book I felt surprised because they didn’t say her name. Her brother always gets his way so I felt jealous. I felt reminded because I can dive. She didn’t say there names so I felt weird. Lastly I felt aquard because she said she fed the cat but then she said her sister fed her cat.
