A Bad Case of Stripes is fiction .The characters are Camilla, the Doctors, the Students, her Mom and Dad, news reporters, an old lady, and teachers. The settings are Camilla’s school and Camilla’s house. The book, A Bad Case of Stripes, is about a girl named Camilla who has a bad case of stripes. Camilla has a lot of who doctors look at her. When Camilla goes to school, students shout out colors Camilla changes into colors. An old lady cures Camilla with lima beans, The moral of the story is be yourself. A Bad Case of Stripes relates to me because when • I am like Camilla because I am a girl. A Bad Case of Stripes relates to Charlottet’s Web because there is a girl in the book. A Bad Case of Stripes relates to the world because there are girls in the world, there are colors in the world , and there are lima beans in the world. • I read this book I felt sad because she was sick. I admire Camilla because Camilla likes lime beans. When I read this book, I wondered how did Camilla get the stripes. A lesson I learned in this book is be yourself and now I am going to be myself.

12. The Pain And The Great One • The Pain and the Great One is a funny book. The author is Judy Blume. The genre of The Pain And the Great One is fiction. The characters are The Pain, The Great One, and their Mom and Dad. The Settings are The Pain and the Great One’s house and a pool. The Pain and the Great One are angry as An angry bull at each other. The Great One thinks The Pain slob and is lazy and The Pain is loved more. The Pain thinks The Great One is better at everything, and The Great One thinks she’s the best. The Pain and The Great One don’t like each other. • I relate to this book because I have a brother. The Magic Tree House is like this book because there is a brother and a sister in both. There are brothers and sisters in the world. • I am different from The pain because I am a girl. When I read this book, I felt happy because The book was funny. This situation reminds me when I get into fights with my brother and later, we always get in to trouble after. I am like The Great One because I am a girl. I wondered why did The Painand The Great One think the other one was loved more?

13. My Vacation • When I went to Virginia Beach, my brother and I met some kids. We went sand flea hunting. We stuck our hands in a spot in the mud and kept putting our hands in different places until we found a sand flea. When we got a sand flea, I put it in my bucket with mud. I sometimes got under a giant wave. The ocean waves were powerful as wind in a storm. The waves were giant. • My family and I stayed at a hotel called SAND CASTLE RESORT for 3 days. For the first 2 days, we had SUBWAY sandwiches and the last day we had pizza on the beach for lunch. Someone found a dead Sting ray at the beach. The dead Sting ray was awesome. They cared the dead Sting ray on a bogie board to the lifeguard. When we left the hotel, we took a long trip home and got back at night. I had an awesome vacation! • The hotel room was big and had soap and shampoo in the bathroom. There was two big in the hotel room beds and on the second floor there was a pool. There was a porch next to the hotel room there was also a fish tank on the first floor. Stores were not far from the hotel some stores were across from the hotel. There was a two play grounds at the beach .I had fun at the beach

14. Myrtle Beach • As I was walking on the beach, I smelled the salty air. I did not know most of the people there. When I went swimming, the waves were huge. I saw fish swimming in the waves. I hoped it did not rain cats and dogs when I was there. When I got out of the water the sand was hot. • When I dried off I wanted to go back to the condo. I got my clothes on and I did not go back to the beach that day. I had a great day at the beach. • The next day I did the same things. The sand was still hot and rough. The waves were still huge. I still could see fish. It was the same amount of fun.

15. My Hero • The person I admire is my mom. My mom works for a newspaper that gives advice to senior citizens. I think my mom is extremely compassionate. She wears cherry red lip stick and pretty clothes. When I have to go places she drives me there and picks me up. • If I were to describe my mom I would say she is nice, pretty, helpful, carful, generous, and friendly. Always when I am not home she reads quietly reads or checks her e-mail she might watch TV or talk on the phone. Sometimes my mom cooks lunch or dinner. Also my mom is awesome! Would you like to meet my mom?

16. Don’t Kill The Ant • You shouldn’t kill the ant! The ant is small as a speck, but you shouldn’t kill him. The ant is a part of nature. He has a house and a family. • The ant has a family, and he takes food you don’t even need. He uses the food to feed his family. • He builds his house for his family and is a worker ant. The ant has to do a lot of work. • He is important to his family and works like other ants. The ant also helps his family. The ant is worthy. He works and helps his family. He feeds baby ants, that are a part of his family. So you should let the ant go free!

17. The Big Mare • The big mare is pregnant. She is going to have twin, one is a boy and the other a girl. The purple thing around her eye protects her eye. Her name is Copper because she got that name of her fur coat. She is in the pasture of Sun Shine Ranch. There she lives happily ever after … eventually with her babies.

18. The Ocean • The ocean tastes like salt water. • The ocean smells like salt water. • The ocean sounds like loud water crashing. • The ocean looks like waves and water. • The ocean feels like cold water.
