  2. Nonrenewable Resources • Those that could not be renewed, or whose supply could not be replenished. Ex. Fossil fuels, other mineral resources

  3. Renewable Resources • Those that could be renewed, or whose supply could be replenished in a matter of days, weeks,months or years within our lifetime or even our grandchildren’s lifetime. Ex. Sunlight,Forests,fresh air, fresh water and many animal and plant species

  4. Sustainable yield • The highest rate at which these renewable resources could be used while making them still available to the next generation. Potentially renewable resources- are something that can be replaced. for example : a tree in a forest can be REPLACED by planting again.
