As answered by students at ISMWhy do we have Schools? • To learn to cooperate with others who are different. • To give us many experiences by making us make mistakes and allowing us to encounter many activities and people. • To learn the most important skills in order to succeed in life. • To learn to get along with others. • To learn things that are already known so that we can lunge forward and discover something new. • To learn to be better people. • To realize our dreams. • To meet new people.

As answered by students at ISMWhy do we have Schools?? • To inspire us to do the right thing. • To give us opportunities to do different things. • To guide our future by teaching us things that would help us an important values such as cooperation and responsibility. • To teach us to work with people • To communicate with others • To become more confident • To learn about the world, other people and yourself. • To produce poeple who are responsible, creative, morally upright and who can contribute to society.

  6. Assessing for Learning • Time in and out of class given for assessments. • Follow the writing process (brainstorm, first draft, final draft etc) • Work at home should be spread over a longer time period

  7. Assessment Policy Exception If students talk to me at least 24 hours before due date, there is a good possibility of an extension.
