October 2018 Monthly Overview: Arabic, KSS, Islamic, French, Reading, Maths, Writing, Science, Art, ICT, PE, Music - Yea

1. Arabic Students will learning about the history of the Kuwaiti National Anthem and the values of Loyalty and Mercy. KSS Students will be learning about the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, using atlas skills to locate the countries. Islamic Students will be learning about The Brotherhood between immigrants and helpers. French Students will be learning vocabulary used for greetings and introducing themselves. Reading Book-Watership Down by Richard Adams Exploring the reading of novels written by significant authors. Guided Reading- Students will be developing reading skills that help identify the main characters, plot and setting in a story book. Maths Students will be focusing on multiplication and division facts. Student will complete Number Problem Solving investigations. Students will use My Maths online learning platform: www.mymaths.co.uk Year 5 Monthly Overview October 2018 Writing Students will be planning and writing narrative stories using the theme of a novel. Students will focus on how to use correct sentence structures and arrange writing into clear paragraphs. Visits and special events Parent Coffee Morning: Tuesday 9th October Art Week: 14th – 18th October Mid Term Break: 21st -25th October Return to School: Sunday 28th October Science Students will be studying Animals, including humans- exploring the life cycles of animals and humans. Art Students are going to investigate tones and colours through the work of Pop Art. ICT Students will learn to use an object-based graphics package to produce images and visual models. PE Introduction to PE Rules. Exploring playground games and playing safely. Music Students will develop performance skills through African drumming.

2. العربى سيتعلم الطلاب عن تاريخ النشيد الوطنى و قيم الوفاء و الرحمة دراسات الكويت الاجتماعية • سيتعلم الكلاب عن دول مجلس التعاون الخليجى باستخدام الاطلس لتحديد مواقع الدول التربية الإسلامية سيتعلم الطلاب عن الأخوة بين المهاجرين و الانصار الفرنسى سيتعلم الطلاب الكلمات المستخدمة فى التحية و تقديم انفسهم للاخرين القراءة Watership –Down كتاب من تأليف ريتشارد آدمز قراءة و استكشاف الروايات المكتوبة بمؤلفين مشهورين. الرياضيات سيتعلم الطلاب حقائق الضرب و القسمة . و سيتعامل الطلاب مع عدد من المسائل الكلامية و استنتاج الحلول منها . الخطة الشهرية للصف الخامس اكتوبر 2018 الكتابة سيقوم الطلاب بإعداد و كتابة رواية بإستخدام رواية خارجية سيركز الطلاب على استخدام تركيب الجمل الصحيح و تنظيم الكتابة فى فقرات واضحة العلوم • سيتعلم الطلاب عن الحيوانات و الإنسان و دور الحياة لكل منهما الزيارات و الاحداث اجتماع اولياء الامور : الثلاثاء 9 اكتوبر عطلة منتصف الفصل : من 21 إلى 25 اكتوبر الرسم سيتعلم الطلاب الالوان و درجاتها من خلال فن الرسم الشعبى كمبيوتر سيتعلم الطلاب استخدام حزمة رسومات بيانية لمجسمات لإنتاج صور و مجسمات مرئية الموسيقى سيطور الطلاب مهاراتهم من خلال الطبلة الإفريقية حصص الالعاب العرف على قواعد التربية البدنية تعلم كيفية اللعب بأمان فى الملعب

3. Reading Book-The Wolf’s Story by Toby Forward. Exploring the reading of narrative stories with flashbacks. Guided Reading- Students will be developing reading skills that help identify the main characters, plot and setting in a story book. Arabic Students will learning about the formation of Primary and Secondary ideas and types of plurals and middle Hamzah. KSS Students will be learning about the natural history of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Arabian Peninsula. Islamic Students will be learning about impurity and cleanliness, discussing how to remain purified. Music Exploring rhythm intonation and harmony through rounds. French Students will be learning vocabulary used for greetings and introducing themselves. Year 6 Monthly Overview October 2018 The Wolf’s Story Writing Students will be learning and writing about the difference between fact and opinion. Students will focus on how to write extended sentences using a range of sentence starters, connectives and punctuation marks. Visits and special events 6 Blue Class Assembly: Monday 8thOctober Parent Coffee Morning: Tuesday 9th October Art Week: 14th – 18th October 6 Green Class Assembly: Monday 15thOctober Mid Term Break:21st -25th October Return to School: Sunday 28th October Maths Students will be focusing on multiplication and division facts. Student will complete Number Problem Solving investigations. Students will use My Maths online learning platform: www.mymaths.co.uk Art Students will take a chance to exploring Ancient Egyptian paintings and sculptures. ICT Students will learn how to present information by using a combination of Text, Images, Video and Sound. Science Students will be studying about the human heart and a science enquiry on how exercise affects the pulse rate. PE Introduction to PE Rules. Exploring playground games and playing safely.

4. دراسات الكويت الاجتماعية • ستعلم الطلاب تاريخ دول مجلس التعاون الخليجى و الجزيرة العربية التربية الإسلامية • سيتعلم الطلاب عن الطهارة و النقاش عن كيفية الطهارة العربى سيتعلم الطلاب عن تكوين المبادئ الاولية و الثانوية لأنواع الجمع و همزة الوسط القراءة كتاب حكاية الذئب للمؤلف توبى فوروارد .استكشاف القصص الروائية و العوده للوراء الموسيقى استكشاف ايقاع الترانيم و النغمات من خلال اغانى قصيرة الفرنسى سيتعلم الطلاب الكلمات المستخدمة فى التحية و تقديم انفسهم للآخرين الخطة الشهرية للصف السادس اكتوبر 2018 The Wolf’s Story الكتابة سيتعلم الطلاب الفرق بين الرأى و الحقائق . سيركز الطلاب على كتابة الجمل الطويلة و استخدام عدد كبير من اساليب بداية الجمل و اساليب الوصل و علامات الترقيم الزيارات و الاحداث الخاصة عرض مسرحى للصف 6 ازرق : الاثنين 8 من اكتوبر قهوة الصباح مع اولياء الامور : الثلاثاء 9 من اكتوبر عطلة نصف التيرم : 21- 25 من اكتوبر العوده للمدرسة : الاحد 28 من اكتوبر الرياضيات سيتعلم الطلاب حقائق الضرب و القسمة و سيتعامل الطلاب مع عدد من المسائل الكلامية و استنتاج الحلول منها . كمبيوتر .سيتعلم الطلاب تقديم معلومات باستخدام الجمع بين كتابة نص و صور و صوت و فيديو العلوم سيتعلم الطلاب عن قلب الإنسان و كيفية تأثير التمارين الرياضية على مستوى النبض حصص الالعاب لتعرف على قواعد التربية البدنية . التعرف على العاب الملعب و الرسم • استكشاف لوحات و تماثيل مصرية قديمة
