  4. Voilà deux poires mange les deux poires! Elle J’ai encore faim!

  5. trois bananes Voilà Elle mange les trois bananes! C’est délicieux!

  6. quatre fraises Voilà Elle mange les quatre fraises Mais j’ai encore faim!

  7. voilà cinq oranges Elle mange les cinq oranges . Mais oui j’ai encore faim

  8. La chenille a très très faim elle mange beaucoup de choses… Une saucisse ..et une sucette Une glaçe Un gâteau Un bout de fromage Une tranche de pastèque

  9. Maintenant la chenille est grosse et grasse J’ai mal au ventre!

  10. Elle mange une belle feuille verte Je me sens mieux!

  11. z z z z z Elle dort dans sa maison pendant semaines Et puis…

  12. Elle devient… Un superbe papillon.

Notes • We talked about insects and what they knew (current work in class) • Read the story together (familiar text) • How do we spell one, two, three, four, five? • Introduced the slides in ‘slide sorter view’ and the task • Make sure they highlight the box before typing ! (Demo) • More able could put in their own words (with help) • Some needed support with inserting text • 20 mins for the IT task. • Show the whole story in ‘slide show ’ after IT task + shared reading • Whole session took 40-45 mins • This was done with 6 children and laptops • Potential for use with IWB • Would have used Textease but not available on these particular laptops
