  2. Summary Artemis Fowl is NOT your typical teenager. He is one of the smartest people on the planet and ex-owner and operator of what used to be one of the biggest criminal empires ever. A few years ago 12 year-old Artemis discovered that fairies, dwarfs, sprites and other mythological creatures are real and lightyears ahead of us. Gradually, he earned the trust of these creatures, or the People, as they call themselves. The People discovered the vicious demons, that were banished thousands of years ago, are appearing on Earth, due to that the spell used to transport their island and keep them there is detiorating, and the demons will declare war on the human race. Artemis must find the only person that may fix the spell, a young warlock named Number 1, but there’s just one problem. Number 1 is being held captive by a girl who just might have outsmarted Artemis, Minerva Paradizo, age 15.

  3. Goods I liked how the author, Eoin Colfer, constructs a very bendable plot line, meaning he is always adding ineresting twists, surprises and illusions that make you think one thing is happening, when really something entirely different is at work.

  4. Bads • Not much can be criticized about this book, but there is one aspect that some people (but not all) may not like. In each of the Artemis Fowl books, there is a new villain (with the exception of books 2 and 4). This prevevnts the reader from knowing the villain very well. On the other hand, some readers may like this new twist,

  5. Would I Recommend This Book? • I would absolutely recommend this book because it has something for everyone. For action-lovers, this book has some exciting fights. For intellectuals, this book is a workout for the brain, and for jokers, this book is hillarious! All in all, this book is excellent.
