  14. The hero should be a Jewish peasant, but instead it’s a Samaritan

  15. It’s the least religious person in the story that actually is the HERO!

  16. In loving our neighbors whom we can see, we learn to love God, whom we can’t see. And in loving God whom we can’t see, we learn to love our neighbors whom we can see.

  17. For all of us, the oil and wine of our lives are: God’s grace—God gives me what I don’t deserve God’s mercy—God doesn’t give me what I do deserve

  18. In loving our neighbors whom we can see, we learn to love God, whom we can’t see. And in loving God whom we can’t see, we learn to love our neighbors whom we can see.

  19. Don’t “dare to be religious”; “dare to care” by loving your neighbors.”
