  5. IdiographicAn approach to explanation in which we seek to exhaust the idiosyncratic cause of a condition or event. NomotheticAn approach to explanation in which we seek to identify a causal factors that impact a class of conditions or events.

  6. InductionLogical model in which general principles are developed from specific observations. DeductionLogical model in which specific expectations of hypotheses are developed on the basis of general principles.
