This piece explores the evolution of my identity over the years, focusing on personal growth from ages 5, 10, and 15. I reflect on how my experiences as a little kid, tween, and teenager have shaped me. Through the lens of one specific theme, I examine the significant changes I've encountered and what has remained constant in my life. I also analyze three key historical points in time concerning the social theme and how humanity has both transformed and stayed the same over the ages.

Think about yourself • You’ve been alive 15 or 16 years. • How have you grown and changed? What has changed in your life? • How have you stayed the same? What has stayed the same in your life?
Pick 3 points in your life • Ages- 5, 10, 15 • Stages- little kid, tween, teen • Grades- Kinder/Elementary, Middle, High School • Pick ONE THEME and think about what has changed and stayed the same ON THAT ONE THEME • Write as 4 short sentences: “When I was __ I __. (x3) But through all my life I __”
WHY? • Why did you like/do/etc the first thing? • Why did you make each change? • Why has something not changed?
On to History • Think of one of our 5 themes: • Economic, Social, Cultural, Political, Environmental • How has humanity changed and stayed the same? • Pick 3 points in time on one theme, write the same 4 sentence structure: beginning condition, change 1, change 2, continuity. DON’T FORGET: WHY did they change or not change?
