Plot • This book is about a country called Panem that has 12 districts and a capital called the Capitol. Every year, each district has to send a boy and a girl to the Capitol to fight to the death. Katniss, the main character lives in District 12, the poorest district. When her sister's name is chosen, she volunteers to go in the arena instead of her and the boy is Peeta. In the arena, Katniss does everything in her power to stay alive and keep sponsors, from hunting everyday to pretending she likes a boy. It gets more exciting and action-packed than ever before!
