Error "Incompatible Software Found" is Preventing Installation of Trend Micro If you are installing Trend Micro and then suddenly you see an error message that says “Incompatible Software Found, the installer must now remove what you see listed below to prevent interference with your Trend Micro security software” or a message similar to “Installation incomplete”. This problem occurs when the Trend Micro program fails to remove the obstructed third-party security software.
