I • ‘The process of enhancing or optimisingproject outcomes through experimentation and exploitation with a view to increasing their value and impact’ / ‘the ultimate aim is to transfer promising project results into educational and vocational training systems - practicesthroughout the countries participating in the programme • ‘the process of exploitation of project learning and of the results of projects with a view to optimising their value and impactinexisting and new contexts(target groups, companies, sectors, education institutions, etc) • ‘the process of disseminating and exploitingproject outcomes with a view to optimising their value, enhancing their impact and integrating them into training systems and practices at local/national level as well as European level

  7. What is valorisation? V Het geven van meerwaarde aande resultaten van een project buiten de directe grenzen van het LdV project !!!!!!

  8. What is valorisation?

Elk project is uniek. Het bestaat uit eenmalige combinatie van: één of meer doelstellingen werkwijzen één of meer doelgroepen kleiner of groter aantal partners kleiner of groter aantal partnerlanden verschillende contexten

  10. Valorisation of results of Leonardo da Vinci projects From old --------- to new needs analysis project initiator partner selection project initiator partner selection needs analysis project objectives project objectives dissemination dissemination target group(s) target group(s) product(s) product(s) end-users end-users c

  11. Valorisation of results of Leonardo da Vinci projects: context for needs analysis • Contexts for needs analysis: • Standing international associations and networks • Building on former Leonardo projects • New ideas, taking up new international / European • (political) developments • Completely new ideas • (possibly taking up national developments)

  12. Valorisationof results of Leonardo da Vinci projects: objectives • Objectives of the project and of the partners: •  One, a few or many objectives • Diversity of project objectives • Different objectives per country •  Different objectives of partners • Level to be influenced by objectives

  13. Valorisationof results of Leonardo da Vinci projects: example of objectives • Objectives of the project, an example: • Production of adequate training module to get students acquainted with Interlaboratory Researches (ILRs) • Determine the currently best possible method of analysis (best performing, best fit, most student friendly, most environmental friendly) for selected cases • Produce and compare with each other results with the self-developed analysis and valuate own achievements • Confront students with national, European and international norms and (dis)advantages for their school situation, and have them assess suitability • Set up an outline for optimising analysis methods • Develop materials about adequate analysis techniques in conformity with the didactics chosen together • Enable schools to profit from know how of local or international companies of quality assurance and analysis methods • Transfer know how from companies to laboratory schools • Intensified cooperation and lasting contacts between laboratory schools and (local) companies • Communicate with partner schools and companies about methods, etc. by an ICT network fit for the purpose

  14. Valorisationof results of Leonardo da Vinci projects: example of objectives • Objectives of the project, continued: • Determine the currently best possible method of analysis (best performing, best fit, most student friendly, most environmental friendly) for selected cases • Create an adequate communication network for teachers and students • Complete a set of fully tested analysis methods in English language that will be useful for laboratory education all over Europe • Implement products of the project in laboratory education • Continue ILR based upon the products of project • Improve students’ English language skills

  15. Valorisationof results of Leonardo da Vinci projects: example of objectives • Objectives of the project, continued: • Determine the currently best possible method of analysis (best performing, best fit, most student friendly, most environmental friendly) for selected cases • Create an adequate communication network for teachers and students • Complete a set of fully tested analysis methods in English language that will be useful for laboratory education all over Europe • Implement products of the project in laboratory education • Continue ILR based upon the products of project • Improve students’ English language skilles • Reduction to three main goals: • develop educational material on quality management in laboratories • develop a website for communication on quality management issues • - design a good logistic structure for distribution of sample materials
