  2. PERSONAL INFORMATION • Richie McCaw was born and raised in Otago, New Zealand. Richie moved to Dunedin when he was seven and started playing rugby when he was seven as well. He went to Dunedin Boys High School . Richie weighs in at 106 kilograms and Richie’s height is 1.87 metres.

  3. What? WHAT? • Richies positions are open side flanker and number eight. Richie plays for three New Zealand rugby teams. Richie plays for the All Blacks, Crusaders and Canterbury. • Richie has forty five test caps.

  4. HOW? • Richie made it into the Otago Boys High School first fifteen team and made a good impression. Richie’s team made it into the final against Rotorua Boys High School.

  5. Why he is an effective leader • Richie McCaw is a good leader because he is one of the best flankers and captains in the world. Richie captains these three teams the All Blacks, Crusaders and Canterbury. • The All Blacks coach is Graham Henry.
