  3. What physical changes occur at puberty in males? • Genital organs mature • Underarm, facial, pubic and body hair • Voice deepens • Muscles grow • Bone density increases

  6. Hormone Regulation • Hormone: a chemical in the blood that brings a message to 1 or more organs

  7. Erection • Due to sexual arousal, cavities in the penis fill with blood • This increases its volume and hardness

  8. Ejaculation • Expulsion of semen by the penis into the vagina • Spermatozoa make their way through the uterus into the fallopian tube in order for just 1 to fertilize the ovum
