  1. A According to the most widely accepted version of its origin, the Siamese state based at Ayutthaya in the valley of the Chao Phraya River rose from the earlier, nearby kingdoms of Lavo and Suphannaphoom (Suvarnabhumi). One source says that, in the mid-fourteenth century, due to the threat of an epidemic, King U Thong moved his court south into the rich floodplain of the Chao Phraya on an island surrounded by rivers, which was the former seaport city of Ayothaya, or Ayothaya Si RaamThepNakhon, the Angelic City of Sri Rama. The new city was known as Ayothaya, or Krung ThepDvaravadi Si Ayothaya. Later it became widely known as Ayutthaya, the Invincible City.

  2. B Since its inception as the capital of Siam, it was a target of European colonial plans, but due to its strategic location in Indochina, it acted as a buffer-zone and brokered power between the European forces. Through this, it gained notoriety in the world as an independent, dynamic and influential city. And in the span of over two hundred years, Bangkok has grown to become the political, social and economic center of Thailand, Indochina and one of Southeast Asia

  3. C Chaiyaphum (Thai: ชัยภูมิ) is one of the north-easternprovinces (changwat) of Thailand. Neighboring provinces are (from north clockwise) KhonKaen, NakhonRatchasima, Lopburi and Phetchabun.

  4. D Din Daeng (Thai: ดินแดง) is one of the 50 districts (Khet) of Bangkok, Thailand. Its neighbor, clockwise from north, are Chatuchak, HuaiKhwang, Ratchathewi and Phaya Thai

  5. E Elephants are large land mammals in two genera of the familyElephantidae: Elephas and Loxodonta. Three species of elephant are living today: the African bush elephant, the African forest elephant and the Asian elephant (also known as the Indian elephant). All other species and genera of Elephantidae are extinct, some since the last ice age although dwarf forms of mammoths may have survived as late as 2,000 BCE.[1] Elephants and other Elephantidae were once classified with other thick-skinned animals in a now invalid order, Pachydermata

  6. Fouyfa Bougainvillea] is a genus of flowering plants native to South America from Brazil west to Peru and south to southern Argentina (Chubut Province). Different authors accept between four and 18 species in the genus. The plant was classified by Europeans in Brazil in 1768, by PhilibertCommerçon, a French botanist accompanying French Navyadmiral and explorer Louis Antoine de Bougainville during his voyage of circumnavigation

  7. G The Grand Palace (Thai: พระบรมมหาราชวัง, PhraBoromMahaRatcha Wang) is a complex of buildings in Bangkok, Thailand. It served as the official residence of the Kings of Thailand from the 18th century onwards. Construction of the Palace began in 1782, during the reign of King Rama I, when he moved the capital across the river from Thonburi to Bangkok. The Palace has been constantly expanded and many additional structures were added over time. The present King of Thailand, King BhumibolAdulyadej, however, resides at the Chitralada Palace.
