Welcome to Mr. Willard’s Classroom! Lets talk about some classroom rules. The classroom is silent unless you ask or are given permission to speak. Raise your hand to get permission! You should be respectful towards everyone and their property at all times. You should not have out food, gum, or drinks in class without permission. You should not have out electronic devices at any time without permission. Your phone should be off! If you need to speak to me you should raise your hand and practice patience.

The 2nd time any rule is broken you will have another silent lunch and a call home. The 3rd time any rule is broken you will have another silent lunch, another call home, and team isolation. The 4th time any rule is broken you will be referred to the assistant principal.

Science Notebook What is an INB? • The purpose of your interactive notebook (INB) is to collect, record, and organize your science information in a creative way, all while creating a PERSONALIZED DIARY of your science learning. • This notebook is designed to use both your right and left-brain hemispheres to help you SORT, CATEGORIZE, REMEMBER, and creatively interact with the new knowledge you are gaining. • Your INB will also serve as a great tool to help you stay ORGANIZED. • The best part is that it gives you permission to be playful and CREATIVE in your responses without "messing up" your notes. • Allows you be like a REAL SCIENTIST!

Get Started! Now that you have the instructions of what to do, begin designing you cover page and author page. You will turn them in at the end of class and I will pass them back out to you when we meet again. Remember to bring your notebook and all other materials tomorrow as we will put it all together!
