This is the third consecutive year of the District Budget Survey administration. • Survey invitations were emailed to the 4,295 email addresses on file. Parents and other community members also participated by accessing the survey via a link on the district’s website. In total, 1,310 people participated in the survey. • Survey questions focused on the perceived importance of current district-wide programs and services as they relate to the education of students. • Survey results will be used to help the district make tough choices while understanding how each of the items impacts families in the community. 15. Conclusions Highlights Next Steps We will share these results with administrators, the Board of Education, employees and stakeholders. As we move forward with the budgeting process, this research will guide our priorities. • As the economic landscape has evolved we've noticed smaller rates of participation potentially demonstrating more stakeholder confidence in district decision making. • Survey results confirm one of the district's major initiatives to maintain small class sizes through local budgetary support of classroom personnel. • We believe it is notable that across all stakeholder groups, the 3 most important factors in educating students were identical.
