God, i.e., the true God, note: though the form is grammatical plural, the meaning is singular and many sources think implies a majesty or stateliness (Ge 1:1) Swanson, J. (1997). It portrays God as the transcendent being, the creator of the universe. It does not connote more of the personal concepts inherent in Yahweh. Not always used to refer to God!
