  5. The Three Musicians The original painting is located, as stated, in the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Yet there was another copy made. The other copy was put in a different museum. Picasso loved the subject, so he painted many more with the same subject in the same year. However this painting was the last and most detailed of the series.

  10. Les Demoiselles d’ Avignon Portrays five naked women. These five women seem to appear menacing and rendering based on their angular and disjointed bodies. Two of the women have African masks which symbolizes a savage aura. With this painting made a radical departure from traditional European work. It’s considered a seminal to early development of both cubism and modern art.   11. La Guitare • Georges Braque • 71.1 cm. x 55.9 cm. • Oil Painting • Completed 1910 • Located in Tate Modern, London, UK Braque begun to work very closely with Picasso around 1909. He, as well as Picasso, developed a proto-Cubist style of painting. Braque was mainly interested in developing Cézanne’s idea of having multiple perspectives. It was discovered that Braque’s encounter with Picasso had only deepened the exploration of Cézanne’s ideas. Braque became considered one of the innovators of Cubism and his work is now considered Analytic Cubism

Cézanne had an idea of making art have multiple perspectives. This is a big characteristic in creating Cubist art. Pablo along with Braque developed Cubism in 1908.
