  3. Where can I find FAA Access to CPS Online? • url to FAA Access fafsa.ed.gov/FOTWWebApp/faa/faa.jsp • New login process in mid-2009 • FAA will provide User ID and Password • No longer need to provide personal identifying information including SSN and PIN

  4. What is FAA Access to CPS Online? • Web site which allows FAAs to: • view students’ SAR information • enter FAFSA data and make corrections • request ISIRs from the ISIR Data Mart • Additional tools: • R2T4 on the Web • ISIR Analysis Tool

  6. Student Inquiry • View a Student Aid Record (SAR) information, including • EFC • NSLDS information • SAR comments • Compare two ISIR transactions • Submit a signature flag

  7. What’s New In Student Inquiry? • Dependency Override on transaction page • Transaction say Dependency Override • Federal School Code of school that submitted the override • Display of all new FAFSA questions • Display of new ISIR flags • Display of new NSLDS information

  9. Application/Verification Tool • Enter a student’s • Initial FAFSA • Renewal Application (pre-populated) • Correction • Use of Verification Tool • Provides electronic and paper documentation • Determines verification tolerance • Submit corrections

  10. What’s New in Entry/Corrections? • FAFSA questions were added • Some questions were re-ordered • Worksheets redesigned • Worksheet A eliminated • Worksheet B and C renamed and questions were incorporated in the application

  11. What’s New in Corrections? • Only worksheet totals will “display” in corrections • A button will let the FAA access each of the “worksheet” data elements • Special Circumstances warning will alert FAA that parental data questions are blank

  12. What’s New in Verification Tool? • Individual worksheet questions will display • Questions that were part of former Worksheet C will continue to be optional

  13. Restored A Save Application • A partially completed and saved FAFSA/Renewal application can be retrieved • FAA can complete and submit it to CPS

  14. What’s New in Restore a Saved Application? • Password name changed to Transaction Password • Eliminate confusion between new Logon Password • Can be shared

  15. ISIR Request • FAA can request ISIRs from the ISIR Data Mart • by SSN • by query criteria • There have been no changes

  16. Other Functions • ISIR Analysis Tool • Analyze ISIR data • Determine impact of changes • Return to Title IV (R2T4) • Calculate and manage the return of Title IV funds • What’s new- updated for CCRAA
