Harry Coumnas Works in One of Russia’s Top Research Institutes Harry Coumnas is a young meteorologist working in one of Russia's leading research institutes. He is proficient in using computerized and mathematical models to make both short and long range forecasts about climate patterns. To make precise weather forecasts, he collects data from the satellite images, remote sensors, radars, and weather stations from all around the world. He also measures key factors, such as - temperature, humidity, & air pressure at different atmospheric levels. In addition to forecasting, Harry Coumnas examines the impact of weather conditions on the environment and researches on climate change and weather prediction models. His research interests span across a wide range of subjects, including climate prediction, seasonal forecasting, ocean forecasting, & many more. So far, he has investigated subjects like global climatic change, the physics of clouds & precipitation, and many more. Along with that, he has also developed many numerical and computer models that can predict atmospheric processes and improve the preciseness of forecasts.
Prior to landing his dream job as a meteorologist in one of the leading research institutes of in the country, Harry Coumnas completed his Bachelor's and Master's degree in meteorology from a top institute. During his graduation and post graduation programs, Harry learnt in detail about topics like dynamic meteorology, forecasting, weather analysis, etc. While he was pursuing his post graduation, he, along with his three class- mates, Lee Watson, Matt Gauthier, and Victoria J. created a climate model showing mathematical representation of the climate system on physical, biological, and chemical principles. The model not only got Coumnas and his friends huge appreciation from the college professors, but also got them all placed as trainees in the country's top research institute.
