  2. Este foarte dezvoltatin emisfera nordica,cu aproximatie intre 43-64* in Europa si Asia,iar in America de Nord intre 30-50*.In emisfera sudica acest tip de mediu aproape nu exista.

  3. Caracteristicile principale:-precipitatii tot anul550-1200mm,veri calde si foarte calde,iar ierni tot mai reci catre estul Eurasiei si Americii de Nord.-clima se afla sub influienta vanturilor de vest-solurile sunt brune,profunde si bogate in elemente minerale si organice

  4. Vegetatia specifica este padurea cu frunze cazatoare .Domina stejarul si fagul ,castan ,carpen,ulm,.In amestec apar si conifere:pin ,brad,tisa.

  5. Fauna a fost bogata dar s-a redus prin antropizare(cerb,caprioare,lup,vulpe,urs,erete,bufnita).

  6. Relieful e format din campii,podisuri si dealuri pana la altitudini de 1000m.

  7. Interventia omului a inceput inca din antichitate .
