The Hurricanes • Hurricane Gustav formed on September 8 and ended on September 12, 2002. • Hurricane Isidore formed on September 14 and ended on September 27, 2002. • Hurricane Lili formed on September 21 and ended on October 6, 2002. • Hurricane Kyle formed on September 20 and ended on October 12, 2002.

The climate factors that caused the hurricanes were? • The climate factors that caused the Hurricane Gustav was thunderstorms and a upper- level Low. • The climate factors that caused the Hurricane Isidore was a thunderstorm. • The climate factors that caused the Hurricane Kyle was non tropical Low. • The climate factors that caused the Hurricane Lili was cloudiness and showers.

  8. How many people were affected? • Only one person died by Hurricane Gustav. • Four people died in St.Vincent, and another four died in Jamaica because of Hurricane Lili.

  9. What kind of damage was caused? • Hurricane Gustav caused trees to fall down in Prince Edward Island and local flooding there too. Gustav scattered power outages from limb and trees falling onto the lines. In Halifax there was only some leaf litter after the storm. • Hurricane Isidore caused lots of houses lost their roofs in Cuba and Mexico. • Hurricane Kyle only caused one death in the British Isles.

  11. Important facts • One important fact about hurricanes are that they can be very deadly. • Some hurricanes can start as a subtropical storm and some as rain storms and wind storms.
