Advice from Brian Nelson High School UIL Debate Coach: • “My biggest advice is find a way to convince your kids to jump into a tourney and get going. The longer they stay on the sidelines the longer it will take them to figure it out. You have to get into the pool if you want to learn to swim. :)” • He has taught debate for 8 years, and he had 2 UIL state champions last year!!! • He will be coming to talk with you all in April to give you tips for subsequent years. • He would come sooner, but they are our competitors!
