  5. Newcastle’s situation (2) • Transitional phase • Bibliographic records being added to OPAC • Acquisitions information being entered • SFX launched (OpenURL link resolver) • Developing workflows • Training staff

  6. Newcastle’s situation (3) • Mature phase • Electronic journals embedded in normal activity of Periodicals department • Serials will mean any title published at intervals with no end date, regardless of format
