Analysis of Radiation Response in SK-N-SH Neuroblastoma Cells with Survival Pathway Inhibition
This study investigates the response of SK-N-SH neuroblastoma cells to radiation exposure at 0 Gy, 5 Gy, and 10 Gy doses over time intervals of 24, 48, and 72 hours, assessing the impact of inhibitors BMS345541 (IKK-NF-kB), Stat3-inhibitor-6, and LY294002 (PI3K-AKT). Using PI staining and FACS analysis, we explored cell cycle dynamics and apoptosis levels across treatment conditions. Results reveal critical insights into DNA content and cell survival mechanisms in the context of radiation therapy, highlighting potential therapeutic targets for neuroblastoma.
