    1. Filed a compliance plan with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to allow for an October 16, 2003 compliance A Request For Proposal (RFP) for an EDI translator was issued and the Sybase EDI Server and HIPAA Toolkit products have been selected Implementation plans are in progress and testing will begin as soon as the technical architecture is completed Nebraska Medicaid Program HIPAA Implementation Plans
