Student Learning Profile • SLP contains SIX parts: • Student Particulars • Academic Performance in School • Other Learning Experience • List of Awards and Major Achievements Issued by the School • Performance/Awards Gained Outside School • Student’s Self Account
Other Learning Experiences • This part records your OLE in your SENIOR FORM. • Component of OLE • Moral and Civic Education (MCE) • Community Service (CS) • Career-related Experiences (CRE) • Aesthetic Development (AD) • Physical Development (PD) • Others
Other Learning Experiences • Either organised by school or co-organised by school with outside organisations. • You can input at most 20 OLE records. • Validation is required. You need to provide supporting documents like OLE log books, school reports, certificate or medals for validation. • Validation Period: 11/2013
Other Learning Experiences • You have to fill up the details in ENGLISH: • Programme Name • Date • Role of Participation • Partner Organisation • Awards/Certificate/Achievements (if any) • Component of OLE
Other Learning Experiences • First word must start with a captial letter. • Begin each word with captial letters except for article and preposition. Example:A Day for Healthy Living • Proofread your records. Consult your English teachers if necessary.
Performance/Awards Gained Outside School • This part records your personal achievements outside school in your SENIOR FORM. • For example, Grade 8 in Piano Examination • Will not be validated by school. • You can input at most 20 records.
Performance/Awards Gained Outside School • You have to fill up the details in ENGLISH: • Programme Name • Date • Role of Participation • Organization • Awards/Certificate/Achievements (if any) • Reference records from provided • Proofread your records
How to input? • Visit the School Website http://www.cdgfss.edu.hk • Click the “CDGFSS SLP” icon to enter the “Information on SLP” Page.
How to Input? • Right Click and save the Excel file. • Rename your file to be “S6X XX 2013-2014 Student SLP Data Collection.xlsx”
How to input? • Type your Reg. No. in column A • Your Class, No. and Name will be displayed automatically.
How to input? • In the Programme column, choose the Programme that you want to input, or • type the programme there. (A warning box will prompt out and you need to click ‘Yes’ to continue.
How to input? • Choose the school year of the activity.
How to input? • Choose the Role of Participation, or • type the role there(A warning box will prompt out and your need to click ‘Yes’ to continue.)
How to Input? • Type the Partner Organization if any. • Type the Awards/Certificates/Achievements if any • Choose the OLE Components.
How to Input? • Similar for Performance/Awards Gained Outside School
Self-account • Update your self-account. • Save your self-acount to a .txt file with name “S6X XX Self-account”. • Replace all tab, indentation by spaces. • Remove other formats (e.g. Underline)
How to submit? • Self-account: • Send an e-mail to slp@school.cdgfss.edu.hk on or before 31/10/2013. • Mail title: S6X XX Self-account • Mail content: Your name, class and class no. • Attach the text file S6X XX Self-account.txt to the e-mail.
How to submit? • OLE and Performance/Awards Gained Outside School Record Input Excel File: • Send an e-mail to slp@school.cdgfss.edu.hk on or before 31/10/2013. • Mail title: S6X XX OLE and Performance or Awards Gained Outside School • Mail content: Your name, class and class no. • Attach the xlsxfile S6X XX 2013-2014 Student SLP Data Collection.xlsx to the e-mail.
