Developing the Letter of Intent

This senior project proposal combines the adventurous experience of living like a Gold Rush prospector with the innovative exploration of flying robot drones. Participants will spend a weekend panning for gold along the American River, simulating the hardships faced by early miners. The project also investigates the implications of drone technology in law enforcement and civil liberties. With guidance from a mentor, students will engage in interviews and site visits to deepen their understanding and connection to their chosen subject, blending history, technology, and personal passion.
