  2. You will be investigating many important dynasties and historical landmarks today. Your goal is to report all of your researched material back to your “mission group” Follow all directions on each slide Be sure to work on your webquest alone and record all of your “findings” on your travel log pages Introduction Click on the star to continue

  3. Choose one dynasty to research individually. Each group member must research a different dynasty. Xia Dynasty Shang Dynasty Zhou Dynasty Qin Dynasty Han Dynasty Mission #1 Start Over

Print out a “Mission Log” • Click Xia Dynasty (click twice) • Answer the following questions: • 1-Where exactly was the capital of Xia dynasty located? • 2-Where was information learned from? • 3-How many emperors were there? • 4-How many generations and kings were there? • 5-When can Xia dynasty be dated back to? • 6-Who built Xia? • 7-What have archaeologists uncovered? • 8-What dynasty replaced Xia dynasty? Step 1 • Get together with your group and print out enough Summary Sheets for each member. • Step 2 • Start with the Xia Dynasty and each member will explain his or her findings during their travel. Please respect your group members while they are sharing their information. • Step 3 • Each group must record at least 5 valuable facts from each dynasty on their summary sheet. When your group finishes, turn in your sheets to your teacher and visit the social studies wikispace page and explore the websites. Jigsaw activity Finished!
