Mr. Bird’s Classroom Expectations • “I will not let anyone stop me from teaching you.” • Be in your seat, prepared to work before the tardy bell rings (8:20 AM). • Bring necessary materials to class every day. • Follow directions and stay on assigned task. • Receive permission before speaking.
Mr. Bird’s Classroom Expectations • “Leave one another alone” • Respect the classroom and all within. • Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself. • Don’t write on desks, books, other people, etc. • Don’t throw or toss paper, pens, pencils, etc.
Mr. Bird’s Classroom Expectations • “If it’s not in the best interest of the class, don’t do it.” • No vulgar, profane, derogatory comments or actions. • No candy, unless handed out by Mr. B or by birthday person.
Bank of Mr. B • Payments: $1000 per Term • Bonuses: No missing assignments at end of term = $1000 (not reaching AR goal is a missing assignment) • No late work or incomplete work = $2000 • Earning AR Goal = $2000.00 • Tests: 100%= $500 90% = $200 80% = $100
Bank of Mr. B • $2000.00 = When you reach Accel Math goal • No Accel Math Scan= minus $500.00 (Unless you have reached your Accel Math Goal) • Accel Math is homework on Monday and Wednesday - unless you have reached your goal!
Bank of Mr. B • Deductions: • (EP) Emergency Passes $500 (Bathroom passes) • Drinks - $100.00 • (P) Pencils or other school supplies,: $500 • (B) Misbehavior $100 and up depending on the severity or frequency

Bank of Mr. B • There will be an auction at the end of each term where you can spend your money. • Each student will bring something from home for the auction. (Things that you’re not using anymore or just want to get rid of) • NOTICE - Purchases Do Not Transfer During the Auction***
Bank of Mr. B • Accel Math Tests – Put in Bank Binder if they are 80% - 100% • Show work on Accel Math practices and test. • Organize work in order, number, and circle each problem on the back of assignment. • Fix missed problems on any practice or test that is below 80%.
Classroom Expectations • No toys • No electronic devices, cell phones, CD players etc. • No note writing • No hats on in classroom • Water bottles are allowed in classroom
GRADING • 100% - 93% A • 92% - 90% A- • 89% - 87% B+ • 86% - 83% B • 82% - 80% B- • 79% - 77% C+ • 76% - 73% C • 72% - 70% C- • 69% - 67% D+ • 66% - 63% D • 62% - 60% D- • BELOW 60% F • Grades can be viewed on POWERSCHOOL by you and your parents.
