  3. Welcome, Wake-Up, Words of Wisdom Always store beer in a cool, dark place. When you are up to your ass in alligators, it is tough to remember that the original job was to drain the swamp. Nothing is impossible to the person who doesn’t have to do it, pay for it, or be responsible for what happens. S/he who laughs last is the slowest thinker.

  9. “The Next Revolution will not be Televised” • “Our conclusion was that Interruption-Based, outbound marketing techniques were fundamentally broken and in order to successfully break through the noise and connect to people, companies needed to re-think the way they marketed from the bottom up. In other words, they had to ensure that their customers could find them using inbound marketing.” • Brian Halligan & Dharmesh Shah, “Inbound Marketing: Get Found Using Google, Social Media and Blogs”

  24. As We Prepare for the Third Era The SIF Staff and Board, with an expanding agenda and limited resources, will no longer play as large a role in producing and hosting SRI in the Rockies We believe that SIF Member Organizations will continue to support and benefit from SRI in the Rockies We believe that SIF members will continue to provide critical support to the development of our agenda Next year’s agenda will reflect and focus upon many of the key issues facing SIF Working Groups and members SRI in the Rockies will continue to be a premier networking and education event for SRI Professionals We are confident that the number of participants in next year’s event will go UP, rather than down, because both organizations’ value propositions are based on abundance, rather than scarcity.
