  2. What is ELAC ? This is a parent committee for all parents who speak another language. This is your opportunity to come to school, to learn about your school and to help us make your school a better place to Learn

  3. Who Leads our Meetings? Mr. William Marroquin-Administrator Ms. Rita Murphy- Teacher Mr. Kong Moua- Parent Liaison Mrs. Alma Cervantes- Parent Liaison Mrs. Gurbax Shergill- Teacher

  4. Democracy • Our nation is built on the idea that government is best led by the people. You are the people! • In the past two weeks we have witnessed our Democratic process through two Conventions. In November we will elect the person who will lead us for the next four years. • Will you consider leading ELAC for 1 year?

Parent Leaders • Tonight we will be asking for two parents from each langauge group to help guide our school for the 2012-23 school year • Please consider being that person 1 meeting a month Interest in calling and helping other parents Willingness to come to school once a month Nominations Please: we will take a few minutes

  6. Thank you for Coming! Our meetings are always: in the library 1 hour- 6:00pm-7:00pm Informative and welcoming For All- Bring your friends Next meeting October 11th
