  4. Historians often talk about years as being BC or AD. This is another way of dividing time. This is a way of making large amounts of time easier to think about when learning History. Learning Objectives: 1) To identify key historical terms. 2) To familiarise ourselves with Chronology.

  5. Year 0 when Jesus was born +(AD) - (BC) 2012 years 500 years 2012 AD NOW! 500 BC 2000 AD 500 AD 100 BC 100 AD AD years move forward in time from 0 until you reach today.   9. Chronology is the study of when things happened. Events are put into the order of when they happened. This is called Chronological Order By putting things in chronological order we can discover interesting things about an event. The Events • A man described as 6ft tall with blonde hair enters the apartment. • Sarah is seen arguing with a man outside the supermarket first thing in the morning. • Sarah met her friends, Jane and Laura, for a late lunch at an Italian restaurant. • Sarah helped her Dad move some objects into her car in the early afternoon. • Sarah enters the apartment. • Sarah leaves the apartment very early that morning. • The police find the body of Sarah in the apartment late that night. • A tall man is seen running in the opposite direction of the apartment, the witness could not see him very well as it was night time. • A scream is heard coming from the apartment, as well as many loud noises. • The Details • Sarah’s Dad is called Martin, he is 5ft 5 with grey hair. • John is 6 feet tall, with a muscular build and blonde hair. • Sarah was 5 ft 7 inches tall. • Sarah had a husband but she was recently divorced.
