This module focuses on deepening knowledge of the Iowa Core Curriculum's essential concepts and skills. Participants will engage in silent reviews of key areas including 21st Century Skills, Social Studies, and selected content areas (Literacy, Mathematics, or Science). Through collaborative discussions, participants will identify and agree upon five key takeaways, encouraging critical thinking about how these concepts can influence local curriculum development. Additionally, connections among content areas will be explored, fostering a comprehensive understanding of interdisciplinary implications.
