Broadband and LLU Working GroupAgenda Aim:  BT wishes to put forward its current plans on transformation of the current broadband and LLU portfolio to 21CN.  The purpose being to ascertain what industry believes the key issues to be in this area. We also wish to consult on the best method of ensuring that all customer requirements are being captured so that we can move towards agreement in this vital area. Broadband and LLU Working GroupTerms of Reference & Scope • Membership • Industry representatives • BT Wholesale • Terms of Reference • To ensure a common understanding of the proposed transformation of the current broadband and LLU portfolio to 21CN. • To capture industry requirements for the transformation of LLU and broadband services into 21CN taking account of BT’s SMP obligations, Ofcom policy and technology capability. • To agree the plan for implementation of the broadband and LLU portfolio within 21CN and to monitor execution of that plan • Scope • LLU (and related services) and broadband services, taking account of relevant SMP obligations, 21CN capabilities and Ofcom policy. • Frequency • Monthly or more frequently as required This is a draft to assist discussion

Broadband and LLU Working Group LLU Proposals • Ongoing systems enhancements, according to timetable agreed with adjudicator • Expect to migrate existing products unchanged. • Longer term trajectory will depend on outcome of Ofcom Strategic Review and possible “ringfencing” of BT Access Services as a separate division

Broadband and LLU Working GroupDatastream Proposals • Expect to migrate unchanged with some technical and process issues to be confirmed. • Issues to be tackled include VP re-arrangements, conveyance of ATM and clarity on transfer engineering given that 21CN design and supplier list not yet finalised • Longer term trajectory may include launch of new Broadband products offering increased functionality.
