  2. About Flag Day • Dia de la Bandera, or Flag Day, is basically about celebrating the pride Mexicans have for their flag. This is celebrated all over Mexico on February 24. This day is for Mexicans to remember their country and how it came to bring in existence.

  3. Importance of Holiday • Since its implementation on February 24, 1937, Flag Day has been celebrated. It was General Lazaro Cardenas, the president of Mexico at the time, who started this holiday. Basically, it's a day when every Mexican can celebrate their country's birth, giving younger generations a chance to learn about their country as well.

  4. Participation in this Holiday? • No me gusta participar en el día festivo. Soy Americano no sería correcto. No soy b muy patriótica. parecía así pero no será mi cosa. Es como siento.
