Achievements • Positive HMIe reports for Angus College, CLD in Arbroath and Forfar and many schools • Successful youth work projects which are making a positive impact on young people’s lives • The positive impact of volunteering (the work of Volunteer Centre Angus identified as good practice in two HMIe reports) • Development of and support to community-run childcare provision • Good early progress in implementing 16 + Learning Choices • Effective partnership and innovation in ESOL work • Successful outcomes of the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework pilot in applying the SCQF in community learning settings • The continuing success of Angus Gold (repeatedly identified as good practice by HMIe) • Effective partnership planning and delivery in adult literacy and pre-access provision
