NAVIGATION PROGRAM • Channel & Harbors - 23 active • 8 high use harbors (over 1 million tons commercial cargo) • 15 low use harbors • 15 deep draft channels (14 ft+ depth) Toke Point Marina • 7 shallow draft channels • 2 without channel maintenance (breakwater & revetment) • Conduct hydrographic surveys • Navigation hazard removal.

Corps & Port Partnership Effort • Corps & Port conduct joint sediment sampling & analysis that confirms sediments suitable for unconfined disposal or beneficial use. • Corps & Port coordinate required permit approvals to conduct O&M dredging for whoever gets funds first? • Stakeholder collaboration nets proposal for pipeline dredging with flowlane & beneficial use disposal. • Corps & Port Strategy “Get Dredge Ready”
