  2. You are allowed to check books off the bookshelves in my room by following the directions given in this presentation. • This information is also available in the course syllabus.

  3. Two Things to REMEMBER • It is YOUR responsibility to return books in the same shape that you checked them out. • If a book is lost it is YOUR responsibility to replace the book or pay the cost to replace the book.

  4. General Rules • Books are to be checked out for 2weeks ONLY. • Books may leave the room & be taken home – be careful with them because most have been purchased with my personal money & I’d like to use them in the future. • A student may not check out more than ONE book at a time.

  5. Procedure for checking out books • Find the bookon the shelf that you are interested in reading. • Show Ms. Wigley the book and ask permission to check it out. • Once you have permission to check out the book, print your name, the book title, and the DATE on the board.

  6. Procedure for Returning Books • Give the book to Ms. Wigley
