My best day ever was going to Disney world. This thanksgiving break I went to Orlando, Florida. The day we got there, we went into the hotel and unpacked. Then we waited for about 5 hours. That night we were going to the Magic Kingdom. That was special to us because we got tickets after the park closes. It was a Christmas Celebration. Most of the rides were open, and we got free hot chocolate and cookies. Best of all, there was no lines, because not a lot of people were there. Next we went to go see a special parade just for the Christmas celebration. We went home tired and fell right to sleep. The next day, we were planning to go to Epcot. Once we got there, we waited a little while to get in. The line was not really as long as I thought it would be. Then we started out in the future land. It was really cool because it looked like you were in the future! The first ride we went on is Test Track. That was one of the fastest roller coasters in the park! It was one of my favorite. The line was not really long, but the 2 other times we went on, there was no line at all! That’s because it was right before thanksgiving break. Next we went on Soarin’. That’s a ride that you hop on to this ride and it takes you up. It was like a big movie theater. It would look like you were flying and you could feel the breeze and smell really good smells. The line was really long, but it was worth it! Next we went on the ride in the Epcot ball. It’s were it take you back in to history and learn. When your in the top of the Epcot ball, it looks like your in space! You can see all the planets and stars! My favorite part was when you were going down from “space”. They take your picture in the beginning and you see it while you are going down. You choose your future. They ask where you want to live and stuff like that in the screen in front of you. And then they play a cartoon of you in the future with your heads on it! That was awesome! And it was brand new witch was cool. Then we went to the world showcase and visited all the different county’s. My favorite was Germany! The day after that we went to Animal Kingdom. When we got there it looked like you were in a jungle. My family took a path to the tree of life. We got to go in it and watch a movie, but I forget what it was. Next we were going to see a 3D movie called “It’s a bugs life”. And it looked like you were a bug! Then it was time to go on the ride I wanted to go on the most, Mt. Everest. It was the highest ride out of all the parks! The goal of the ride was to find the Yeti. We went up and I was so scared. We rode slowly up and the end of the track was “ripped off”. Then you went fast backwards! You would stop and see a shadow on the wall of the Yeti Ripping off the track. Then you race front and The Humungous Yeti Scoops his hand at you. Then you go off this big drop. That was really fun. I rode it three times! Next, we went to Disney’s Hollywood studios. The one ride I wanted to go on was Rockin Rollercoaster. First we went on the great movie ride and you would go through the movies. I thought I was going top be really scared because when I went to Disney in 4th grade, I hated it. But I still wanted to go on it, and take my brother. After that, we went on a new ride. It was call “Toy Story mania!” It was based on the toy story charters and you had to shot to get points, and ride at the same time! Next we went on rockin rollercoaster. The line took us three hours to get through. But it was worth it. When you got on, it went “3…..2…..1” and then it blasted 80 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds! It was really fun. You see all the street lights at you while everything else was dark. That ride is really special to me because it was upside down ride! Now that I was on that, I’m not afraid of any other roller coasters! On the last day we could choose any park we wanted to go to again. We decided to go to Disney’s Hollywood studios. That was a good choice because it was my favorite park! Those were the best days of my life, and I hope to go to Disney World again!
76ers The Best Day EverBy: Matt My Best day ever was when I went to see the 76ers game. 76ers were playing the Miami Heat and they were as good a the 76ers so it was going to be a good game. So when we got in the arena my dad said we had horrible seats. But when we found our seats they were actually not bad and it was a great view and we could see everything. I loved watching how the 76ers enter the arena all the lights went out and loud music started to play. I also liked when they were shooting around doing all these tricks it was amazing. I have to say my favorite part was when Donual Marshall hit 3 3’s to win the game it was amazing! I never really liked him but that game really changed my mind. My favorite player on the Philadelphia 76ers has to be Andrew Igudaula because he is very valuable to the 76ers. I love the 76ers and I hope I will have one of these days again because I always love 4th quarter comebacks. I hope I see another game like that.
One of the Best Days Ever By: Camille One of the best days ever was spent with my family. It wasn’t spent at my house or even in North America. It was spent in Costa Rica which is located in Central America. This day was at a hotel in Manuel Antonio called Costa Verde. My day wasn’t just wandering around the hotel, it was actually at my hotel room B3’s balcony. The fun started at about 8:00 am when we were eating breakfast on the balcony. Once we started eating Breakfast we noticed that their was about 4 white faced monkeys in a big tree close to our hotel room. They were staring at us. We quick took some bananas that were extra from the other hotel. The monkeys started pouring in. Instead of having 4 monkeys how it started out, about 10 more came. At first the monkeys didn’t trust us so we just put a piece of banana on the balcony. Then after a little bit we had the banana in our hand and they came and took it very gently out of our hands. These monkeys were so incredible. I would go back there in a heartbeat. There are many reasons why I loved that day. One is because that was like a once in a life time opportunity. The next reason is because the monkeys were very gentle and cute that they would trust you that you wouldn’t hurt them. That day was amazing in so many ways. I wish I could do it again. This day was totally one of the beat days of my whole life. It was fun and it was an amazing opportunity. The monkeys might have missed us as much as we missed them because they may not get feed like we feed them. I hope I get to do it again.
One of the Best Days of my Life Today is Thursday and it is spring break! Spring break already started but today is during spring break. This morning I will be hanging out with Mallory for quite a while, because she slept over last night and is staying at my house for a long time! Then after Mal leaves my whole family will be going to Tony and Marts house! When Mal and I woke up my father was already at work, but my mom was off today! We were very hungry and we wanted to eat. In result my mom made us chocolate chip pancakes! Then shortly after eating we went to watch T.V. in the back room. After a while of watching T.V. my brother was asked to go over a friend’s house. During the time my mom was dropping my brother off, Mal and I decided to find a hiding place. We eventually did before my mother got home, and hid there when she walked in the door. We scared her and it was so fun! Then we played Sorry the board game, and Apples to Apples the card game! Then when it was about four o’clock Mal had to go home because we were going to go over Tony and Marts house in a little while!
When we got there we found out that they had bought three guinea pigs, one for Jenna the oldest, one for Jolie, the middle, and one for Samantha, the baby! Jenna is 12 years old and usually plays with me, Jolie is nine years old and usually plays with my brother Dillon, and Samantha is three years old and usually just stays with the parents and they occupy her! My brother and I don’t have any guinea pigs so we started to play with theirs! After a while of doing that we went upstairs and ordered out and ate some yummy dinner! We were very bored so we went upstairs and set up our sleeping bags. While we were up there my stupid brother spilled a water bottle all over me, so in result, I had to get changed into my pajamas! After I finished getting changed, of course so did everybody else! Then we went into their huge basement and played house, the baby was involved in this game! A while after that my parents left and we were hungry again. We started to eat some yummy snacks and by then it was around one o’clock, so we had to go to bed! In the middle of the night, we were all hungry again, so because it was Passover my mom packed me some matzah which was in my sleepover bag which was in the room we were sleeping in. I started to eat it and then so did everyone else. After that we all went to bed and had a great night sleep! By: Amanda!
My best day ever was when my mother, brother, and I went to Wild Wood that was the best day of my life so far because of all the excitement. My favorite parts were the ride’s we went to Wild Wood for my brother’s soccer tournament. But instead my brother’s teammate’s brother and I went on the rides and to the water park. It was a lot of fun. My favorite rides were the log floom the twister and some rollercoaster that I don’t know the name of but it was fun. I like the log floom because it’s somewhat like a rollercoaster but its not. When you get on you just go up put when you stop going up you land and that’s when the fun begins. You ride in the water for about 30 seconds the when time is up you fall down really fast and it’s like you are going to flip off. Then you go up a different way and longer then the float goes for 10 more seconds then drop down longer and faster. I like the twister because when you go in you stand slanted on a wall then when the ride begins it feels like you are glued to the wall. It’s hard to move but it’s really fun to me and phailen (my brother’s teammate’s brother) start to go upside down so it’s like we can walk on walls. Then when the ride slows down and can’t go right in time you fall on your head and feel dizzy. Another part of my best day ever is when we went on the rollercoaster the fun part of that was when it started. First you go medium speed and slow down when your going up. Next when you stop you go down in twist and turns. Then go faster and straight the more twists and turns then the ride comes to an end but its still fun. That is my best day ever thank you for reading oh and my brother won his game good for them.
One of the Best Day’s of my Life! By Danielle In my life I have had a lot of good days. One of the best days of my life would be when I went on a cruise with my mom’s whole side of the family, and we arrived in Cozumel, Mexico. It was one of the best days of my life because, the whole day was very fun and I got to do a lot of fun things. I got to swim with dolphins, go to the beach, and go on a cruise. Other than being one of the greatest days of my life it also was one of the most fun days of my life. My favorite activity that I did that day was getting to swim with dolphins. It was very fun because, I got to help feed the dolphins and do tricks with the dolphins. I also got to pet them too. Some of the tricks that they did were flips, speaking, and twirls. In the ocean where I was swimming there were also other sea animals like fish swimming around us too. The dolphins were very nice and friendly, and they were very fun to swim with. After we got out of the water we got to go to a gift shop. We got of free DVD of swimming with the dolphins. I had a very fun time. After we finished swimming with the dolphins, I got to go to the beach. I only stayed at the beach for a little bit, but it was still fun. On the beach there were a lot of hammocks which I sat on for a while. There were not many other people at the beach, so it was pretty quiet. I went into the clear, light blue ocean for a while. After I left the beach, I walked around Cozumel. There were lots of places to buy stuff, but I didn’t get anything. In the evening I left Cozumel and went back on my ship. Going to Cozumel was very fun. I got to do a lot of fun things all day. The rest of the cruise was also very fun, but going to Cozumel was probably the best day. I got to swim with dolphins, go to the beach, and more! My family and I all had a really fun time in Cozumel. I would want to go there again. Going on a cruise to Cozumel was one of the best days of my life.
Greatest Day’s of My Life I have had many great days. But this is by far one of my best days. It was when I visited California for my first time since we moved. It was great because I got to revisit my old house and all of my family. My family and I were so excited to go back to California. We were almost at the airport where we would fly to California. When we arrived at the airport we had to bring out all of our luggage. When we had all of it out we walked out to the main desk where we would send out all of our luggage. Then we could walk to our plane. But of course we had to wait a few hours because the plane wasn’t back yet and there were some delays. During those few hours we ate lunch and had some ice cream. We had McDonalds for lunch and then went to some ice cream place. We were so excited and we couldn’t wait. Then we just walked around and my mom looked at all of the stores. By the time we were done the plane was ready. We boarded the plane and sat down in our seats. I was sitting with my mom and then my two brothers and my dad were in the same row When we landed I tried to act excited but I was sooo tired. I went for three hours without sleeping and it was about six in the morning. What’s even worse is I had to get used to the time change. In California they are three hours back. Since we had no cars my Uncle Jim picked us up, and went there for the first day. The next day when my cousins were coming home from school so we surprised them because they didn’t know we were coming. During our time in California we visited our grandparents, all of our aunts and uncles, and some old friends, and we also got to visit our old house. I was really sad when we had to leave, we had so much fun. What made those days so fun and great was being able to see our family and friends and our old house. We have visited California a few times after that and it was great. Visiting California is always my favorite time in my life. I just hate having to leave my family. Going to California is by far my best day. I love seeing my family. Nothing can ever be better than going to California. It is unexplainable how much fun it is going to California. I hope I get to go there many more times.
One of my Greatest Days One of my greatest days I have ever lived was when I was in my first fashion show at the Willow Grove Mall the only reason I was allowed to do the show was because my aunt is the activities director for the Willow Grove Mall. It’s really exciting because I didn’t know what to expect from all the other people, and all the other girls were really experienced and it was my first time. Luckily I modeled with my friend Victoria. She made some of my nerves settle down. I will now tell you more about how just one of those days became one of my FAVORITE days I had. This is how the whole day started. My friend Vic slept over the night before the fashion show and we got all of our stuff ready for the next day. (Except for the clothes we modeled) they belonged to the mall. Then around 10:00 a.m. my aunt came and picked us up and we went right to the mall, because we had to get ready for our show early. Once we got there we had to go get our outfits which were from Limited Too and Champs Jerseys on and get all of our makeup done as well. The makeup people were really nice and so were the other girls there who were in it. Vic and I were really worried because we didn’t know how we walked on the runway. So we had a lesson for that. Once we had that down the show started. We were a little bit nervous but right when we got on stage we showed what we were made of. After the show we had an hour and 15 minute break then we had our second show. We did the same thing for the second show. After both of the shows were over we headed home filled with excitement and enjoyment. The reason this day was just one of my best days was because I experienced things I always wished I had done before. Then finally I did, and with my best friend it made it even better. I wanted to feel like everyone was just watching me do my thing and it all happened because of my aunt it felt like I was really a fashion model and it was so much fun I kept wanting to do more and more fashion shows over and over again. I loved being up on the stage with the people looking at me and saying how nice I looked and it was just a really fun and amazing day. In conclusion I have been through a lot in just one day and have been doing those fashion shows since last year. I have been in three and all had been the same experience as the first one. Except not all of them were with Victoria my previous one I was just in I had modeled with my friend Ally. Once again it was a blast. I hope to be doing these fashion shows until I can be old enough to actually be a real model. I love just being around all the things you can actually do with them and how much enjoyment you have. One Great Day By: Korah So far in my life I had a lot of great days. Right now I want to share one day in particular. It was a day when my cousins family and my family went to Atlantic City. So just try to enjoy a story of me and Atlantic City. We woke up really early so that we can have a lot of fun time. Then everyone got packed and ready as soon as possible. First we had to stop by at my cousins house so they can ride with us in a big van. They weren’t ready so we had to wait. Soon they were ready and we headed to Atlantic City. During this really long ride I listened to music. That made the time go by. We went a little site seeing like looking at bodies of water. We went a 1 to 2 hour dolphin watch on a boat which was successful. There were many dolphins male and female. Some were swimming with the boat. I had a pretty good time. We had to end it soon so we could get to the hotel we were staying at. It was called the Sheraton and it was amazing. There was a computer room, many rooms, and a pool. I was thrilled. We got unpacked and just relaxed for 30 minutes just sitting on the comfy beds. Then we headed to the indoor pool. It wasn’t crowded so I had fun. It was really just some kids, an adult, my brothers, my cousin, my dad and of course me. We stayed for about an hour. Now we can go to the board walk. To go there it was kind of a long walk but it definitely paid off. We saw lots of things like casinos, rides, the beach, and a man on a motor cycle riding on a line. I thought motor cycle thing was fake. My cousin, Joshua, and my youngest brother played a game where you shot water against a hole. It was them and a couple of others. In the end my cousin Joshua won and got a basketball with pictures of money on it. I liked looking at everything on the board walk. It was kind of relaxing except for all that talking. Still it was all right. We went at stores and saw weird stuff like chocolate bandages and huge jaw breakers. My family thought it was cool. After the board walk we went home at 10:00 pm. I couldn’t sleep so I watched the Olympics which kind of just started. Still my parents were sleeping so I turned it off so they can sleep. Soon I fell asleep. Everything had to turn to an end and this did to. Still I had a lot of fun. That’s because I went and did some site seeing, a dolphin watch, stayed at a hotel, went to the hotels pool, and last a great board walk. One really good thing was that it was with my family and my uncles family. No wonder I had a great time.
A Great Day By: Kyle A great day in my life was when we got our dog Macy. We got her in 2003 and she is 6 years old now. She is one of the best dogs we could ask for! In this story I will tell you how we got her and why. Originally I hadn’t wanted her but my mom and brother really did. We were getting ready to go to Washington DC. It was the week before and if we got her just then we would not have anyone to take care of her. My brother and mom cried because they really wanted her. We asked them to hold her for us but they refused. We were very sad and when we got back from Washington we went to the place where we saw her. She was still there! They had held her for us. There had been a couple other people before us that wanted her. We ended up getting her and named her Macy. She is a Bichon-Poodle. The reason we picked her and not a cocker spaniel was because she was a good dog. She didn’t mind being picked up and we thought she was cute. She never growled at anyone. Even when she got groomed she didn’t mind getting her nails or fur cut. If we tease her, all she wants to do is play. That is the reason we got her. In conclusion even though I didn’t really want her I’m glad we got her. She is the best dog ever. When we got Macy, that was a great day. I hope she stays around for as long as possible.
“It’s the Best Day Ever!” By: Mallory Almost everybody in the world has a memorable day in their lives that they can call “The Best Day Ever.” “The Best Day Ever” doesn’t always mean expensive vacations or a trip to a far away place. “The Best Day Ever” can range from a family picnic out in the meadow to a cruise down the Mediterranean Sea. I have one specific “Best Day Ever” in mind, though, that I will always remember. My “Best Day Ever” is not like any other. In fact, my “Best Day Ever” is when I took my great friend Camille up to my mountain house. Every weekend my family and our friends would go up to our mountain house and enjoy a splendid weekend in the mountains. Although my “Best Day Ever” isn’t a far away vacation or an expensive trip around the world, I think of it as one. My mountain house was not just a big brown house to me; it was my life. I grew up at my mountain house, and I hoped that would never end. I did everything at my mountain house from sitting at my mountain house playing a board game, to going to the swim club our family belonged to. Everything my family and friends did at my mountain house turned into memories that couldn’t be forgotten. The reason why my “Best Day Ever” is when I took my friend Camille up to the mountains is because we have known each other since first grade, and we took many adventures in the woods and other cool places. One place we went to that was memorable was a place called Big Boulder. Big Boulder was a place where people could ski, go tubing, and more. Every time Camille came up to the mountains with my family and I we went to Big Boulder, but only in the snowy winter. The fondest memory that Camille and I made there was when Camille went down the huge hill on a tube and right in the middle of the track she flew off the tube and started tumbling down the hill. Once she was done tumbling the instructor came down to where Camille was and made her walk down the rest of the hill. She was not happy! Another memory that Camille and I made at Big Boulder was when we went down the big hill in a tube together and we got stuck right before the giant drop! As we tried to free ourselves from where we were stuck, I got out of the tube and pushed Camille down the hill by herself until I could catch up and hop onto the back. Camille and I made a lot of memories that we will NEVER forget. We spent many great times together and we hope to continue to do so. Camille is one of my best friends and makes it easy to enjoy our friendship. The memories Camille and I made in the mountains or not in the mountains will be remembered forever. Camille and I have had our ups and downs but in the end we realize that nothing can ruin the great friendship we have together. Unfortunately, my mountain house was sold, but that doesn’t stop Camille and I from continuing to remember, and never forget, the memories that make our friendship so real. From here on, that day that Camille and my family spent at Big Boulder will be named “The Best Day Ever!”
One of The Best Days Ever! By: Maria Friends, snacks movies, sleeping bags. SLEEPOVERS! My best day ever was a sleepover with my 3 best friends. We had a lot of fun, and I want to tell you all about it. On this best day ever, I had a lot of fun with my 3 best friends. First we all went to the movies and saw Confessions of a Shopaholic. Then we all went back to my house and watched Friday the 13th. My one friend and I tried to build a fort like thing to sleep in and when it was all done it collapsed. So all our work was worth well nothing, but it was still fun. Then my mom made us go to sleep, but we didn’t. We just stayed up all night and watched TV, and talked. I love sleepovers because a get to hangout with my friends. We have so much fun because we think of unusual things to do, that other people think is weird, but we don’t care. My friends and I always have fun at sleepovers, we never get bored. I have the best times at sleepovers and this was one of the funniest, even if it doesn’t seem that way. Like I said its hard to be bored at sleepovers with my friends.
The Best Day of my Life -Martin The best day of my life was when I met my favorite hockey player in person, Simon Gagne. It was such an honor to meet him because I have never met a professional sports player before. This was about three years ago. Simon Gagne is a really cool guy, and I was very excited in meeting him. He is Canadian and plays left wing on the Philadelphia Flyers Hockey team. Before that day I was only watching him on T.V. But now I actually got the chance to meet him. Simon Gagne is on the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team. How I met him was, one teacher in school told me that he would be signing autographs and taking pictures at a car dealer. I can’t remember which one. So I told my mom about this right away, and we went. I remember it was also somewhere in Newtown. Anyway, we had to wait in a line that seemed like it took forever. Finally we were one step from meeting him. It was about 8:00. Then the most bizarre thing happened. One of the security guards said that the line would end one person in front of us. I was really mad because we waited all that time. But luckily my mom told the security guy off, and said that I have to at least get his autograph after waiting about an hour in line. So finally I did meet the guy. I got his autograph on a little piece of paper. I would have brought something else that he could sign like a puck or jersey, but again I wasn’t prepared because I only found out in school. He was actually very nice, but couldn’t really speak good English because he was Canadian. When I went to school the next day I shared it with the class, and if I remember correctly they really enjoyed learning about how I got it. I know I did too.
One of my Greatest Day Ever By: Mike One of my greatest days ever was when I went to the beach with my cousins for a week. This was one of my favorite days because everything we did was fun, from the car ride there, staying at a hotel and going to the beach and board-walk. Lucky for you I’m going to tell you all about it, step by step. When I woke up one hot July morning and my mother says that were going to the beach with our cousins. I immediately jumped up with excitement. When we finally got on the road it was 10:00 in the morning, so that meant a lot of traffic. But the ride wasn’t so bad for me because I was listening to music. When we finally approached the hotel at which we were staying at I couldn’t stay in my seat, I was too excited. When we finally arrived at the hotel we unpacked all of our things, and we headed up to our room. Once we put all of our things away and we got settled we decided to go down to the hotel pool to relax. After a couple of hours at the pool we decided to head up to bed. When we got up in the morning, we went to the beach for the whole day. After we were all tired and sun burnt we went to the board walk. We rode all the rides and played all of the games. And during all this fun I stopped and said to myself “This is going to be a great vacation”. This trip to the beach was one of me greatest day because it was a really great bonding time for my family and I. It also was my greatest day because it was fun and we all had a great time together. This vacation was my favorite vacation ever because we spent a lot of time together as a family and we all grew as a family. In conclusion, thank you for reading about one of my greatest days ever. Today I still love to go on vacation with my family, but the first one that I took was the best one.
Best Day Ever The best day I ever had was amazing. I had so much fun during this day and I am going to tell you all about it. I was with some of my friends and we had a great time! The best day I ever had was when I went to Mexico over spring break with Robbie. It was very hot outside and it was very nice to play out in the hot weather. Me, Robbie, and his brother went to a water park and it was very fun going down the slides. Also at the water park there was a lazy river and a wave pool. We all had fun at the wave pool and played many games. My family went and we stayed at a hotel and Robbie’s family was in a room close to us. Every day we would wake up and go to the pool or the water park. At the end of the day we were all exhausted and ready to wake up in the morning to do something fun again! I thought this day was very fun. I thought it was fun and the best day ever because of the things that we did. I liked it at the water park because the slides were very fun. I thought the slides were the best because they went straight down and were very fast. I also like when we were at the wave pool because we played games in the wave pool that we made up. When we went in the lazy river we needed to rest so we went around in the lazy river a couple times. It was really fun! I had a great time in Mexico and it was amazing. I hope to go back with Robbie and maybe a couple more friends. If I go back I also might want to do more things and go more places with Robbie. It was very fun!
Best Day Ever I’VE HAD A LOT OF REALLY GOOD DAYS, BUT These two Days Were BY FAR THE BEST Days EVER. This day that I will be talking about was just suppose to be a regular day but it wasn’t. The other day was a vacation The my best day was when me and a couple friends of mine went to this park called the castle. We were 8 or 9 and we played tag in there and it was so fun. It was so fun that we went there about 5 more times after that. Now we don’t go there any more cause were to big for the castle. The second best day was this year. It was spring break and me and my friend Mitch went to Arizona and Mexico. We did a lot of fun stuff there but the highlight was when me and Mitch were playing paddle ball. Paddle ball is when you have to hit the ball back and forth to each other. The point of the game was to count how many times you hit the ball back and forth. The first day we did we were lucky to get 2. the second day we got 42 hits! It was an amazing day for me and Mitch. The reason why I picked these two days was because it was so much fun there. Also I’ll remember those days for a very long time. Those were my best two days of my life I would try going to the castle or to Mexico it is so much fun. - Robbie
My Best Day Ever On my best day ever was the day I was on the roller hockey floor skating my heart out and trying my best. I looked up at the score on the scoreboard and we were winning 1-0 because I scored a goal with a pass from my friend Darren. I wasn’t the best player on my team but I wasn’t the worst either but today I was the best. We were playing a team that had a big goalie but he wasn’t good on his blocker side. My friend Ryan and I were at the line he took the draw Ryan lost the puck and the guy on the other team passed it back to the best player on their team and he carried the puck up past our defense and drove to the net. There’s no risk even trying to cover him, 1-1. It was the last game in the series so I knew the goalies weaknesses, five hole and blocker side he will catch anything on his glove side. Then I heard my coach scream offence, so I went to the bench for a rest. At the end of the first period the score was 5-3 we were losing. We came in with Darren and Michael on Offence, Zach and Nikki on Defense. Darren took the draw and won it back to Zach and he drilled it down the floor and Michael got in and passed to Nikki at the point a come back. With five minutes left Darren came in and scored his second goal, the score 5-5. Ryan and I got on the floor I took the face off this time. They won the face off passed it around then back to the defense and they shot. Then our goalie got a glove on it, but he dropped it and the offence man on the other team came in gave the puck a little tap and it went in. The score was 6-5. They won the face off again but I turned the puck over and passed over to Ryan in the corner and then he passed it back to Justin, our other defense man and he fired on net but then it was blocked by the goalie and then I got the rebound in front of the net and put it in the net. The game was tided 6-6. We stayed on the floor and I got the puck. I was carrying in and passed to Ryan on the left and he quickly passed back and I was in front and I did a move. GOAL!!!!!!! With 30 seconds left. I went to the bench and Darren and Michael went out. With 30 seconds Darren was smart, he was stalling. Best Day Ever In my lifetime I have had many special days but none of them come close to the one I am going to tell you about. I think that I will remember this day for the rest of my life. It might not seem special to you but it definitely is to me. Sit back and enjoy my best day ever. I was 9 years old. My tournament baseball team was in a Holland baseball tournament championship game. In the beginning of the year we had not been very good but my team surely stepped up in this tournament. The game was tide going into the last inning. Top of the order was due up for Holland. They scored three runs to put them up. I was set to bat 6th. The first two people had gotten out but then the pitcher walked the bases loaded. On the first pitch I smashed the ball over the right fielders head. I was rounding second base by the time the right fielder got to the ball. After the ball hit the fence in the air it rolled all the way to the corner of the fence. When the pitcher got the ball at second base I was half way to home. At the moment I got to the plate I heard a pop in the catchers mitt and then I felt the glove hit me in the head. The only thing I heard at that moment was the umpire yelling that I was safe. I think this was my best day ever because it was a very exciting moment. Also it was my second homerun. Can you guess the best day of my life? On this day I woke up and played myfavorite sport, thenI had apartywith all of myfriends. Afterthat my best friend Ali slept over. But best of all, I got a lot ofpresents! You’ve probably guessed it, the best day of my life was my twelfth This year I turned twelve in January. In the morning I went to an indoor lacrosse game with my best friend Danielle. After that Danielle and I rushed over to the Doylestown Rock Gym, where we set up for my birthday party. When my friends started to arrive, we went out to rock climb. I was the first one to climb the wall, and I did it pretty quickly. Then all of my friends had fun climbing the different courses as well. When we were done climbing, we had pizza and cake. Then I opened my gifts. One of my favorite gifts was a tennis racquet from my best friend Kelsey, but I loved all of the gifts. After my party, my best friend Ali came over my house. We had a lot of fun, then we had a ! I enjoyed this special day because I like playing lacrosse, and because I enjoy seeing my friends. I climbed the rock wall so many times my hands started hurting! But I still loved to climb the rock wall! I liked opening presents because it was very nice of my friends to buy me those gifts, and I loved all the clothes I got from Abercrombie, Pink and Hollister! I liked when Ali came over because we do not get to spend enough time together. In conclusion, I think that you see why my birthday was such a great day. I played sports, spent time with my friends, and got presents! I can not wait to see what my birthday next year will be like!
The best day of your life is a hard thing to pick. There are so many things happing every day; and for that reason there are a lot of memories to chose from. A good day that I had was when I became friends with Jill, Katie, and Emily. It was also a great day because I became closer with my best friend Aubrey. When we first met I didn’t know them too well. After we talked for a little while I found out that we all has some things in common. Jill, Katie, and Emily were all very nice! We all have sleepovers, go to the mall, bike ride, and do other things together. That day was also a good day because I became closer to Aubrey, who was and still is my best friend. We became closer because we started to hang out more, and talk more. Aubrey is nice, polite, smart, caring, and much more! Today I still hang out with Jill ,Katie, Emily, and Aubrey. They are some of my closest friends. I don’t have a best day ever but that day came pretty close.
The Best Day of My Life I woke up knowing that today is a very important day for me. What? Oh yes, today is March 10. A day I have been looking forward to for months. It’s here, it’s my birthday. At exactly 8:19 p.m. I will turn twelve years old. I quickly jump out of bed and put on one of my favorite outfits. Then I did my hair and brushed my teeth. As I walk down the stairs, an appetizing odor floats through the air. MMMM! I walk to the dining room, my family and my friend Mal are sitting at the table. We have a delicious breakfast of French toast with syrup, and fresh juicy watermelon. Soon after, I hurry and catch the bus. When I arrive at school everyone wishes me a happy birthday and Camille gave me a huge cookie cake with colorful icing on top. Then the whole 6th grade went to chorus like we do every Tuesday. In chorus they all sang happy birthday to me. When lunch time came, I shared the cookie cake with all my friends. It was amazing! We then went to art and had science, and social studies. After Social Studies at snack time my mom came in and brought 2 giant Ice cream cakes into my classroom. Since my birthday is on the tenth of March and Camille’s birthday is on the twelfth of March we decided to bring in one big treat instead of 2 separate ones. The ice cream cakes said both our names in pretty pink writing. My mom cut the cake and helped serve it to everyone in our class. It was really good. When it was 3:30, I got back on the bus and rode to my house. When I got home I played outside and did my homework. At about 6:00 we had a big dinner of lobster crab cakes, brochette, mashed potatoes, vegetables, steak, and fish. For dessert we had ice cream Sundaes. It was one of the best dinners ever. Later I played soccer with my sister Alison and my brother Kevin. It was a lot of fun. I will always remember my 12th birthday and all the memories I created. One of my greatest days The best day of my life was when we convinced my dad to get a puppy! I was in third grade and we needed a new addition to our family. After we decided on getting a dog we needed to know which kind, how much money and what the dog was like with kids. The dog we chose at first was a Newfoundland. They are like a friendly GIANT! So we went to a dog breeders home and she had new born puppies and they were adorable. We wanted the puppy with the white paw and all the other parts were black. But then to every good story there is bad news and in this one another family came and they like that dog to and the dog breeder just gave it to them even though we told her we wanted it. So we did not buy from her and decided to get a different kind of dog. My mom and dad wanted a Golden Retriever because they were very friendly and loved kids and people. So that was our second choice. My mom took a friend to New York City to pick up a three month old puppy. When we got home from school we waited outside for my mom to arrive with the puppy. My sister and I got to miss CCD to see the new puppy. When she got there we chose a name for the puppy and everyone in my family liked the name Mogli from the movie jungle book. It was cute and it fit our new puppy great. Getting a puppy is the best feeling. Our new puppy fit very well to our family we will always love her and someday I hope to get another one so Mogli can have a friend, other than us! Every dog needs a friend and we are trying to convince my dad to get another it would be so cute and Mogli would have a blast with it! ~Dominique
