IIRSM Middle East Branch Leadership Team Overview - 2013

The IIRSM Middle East Branch, led by Chairman Jon Eades, boasts a diverse leadership team with strong backgrounds in health, safety, and engineering. Jon Eades, with an MSc in Occupational Health and Safety, has over a decade of IIRSM membership and extensive HSE knowledge. Vice-Chairman Matthew Cox, a NEBOSH-qualified professional, brings 23 years of experience in FMCG and construction. Treasurer Abdullatif Albitawi, a Chartered Chemical Engineer, contributes 14 years of expertise in chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Together, they are dedicated to enhancing safety standards in the Middle East.

  1. IIRSM Middle East Branch - Committee 2013 Chairman Jon Eades Jon has an MSc in Occupational Health and Safety and has been an IIRSM member for over 10 years. Jon started his career in the British Armed Forces where he served as a Warrant Officer. Jon has extensive HSE knowledge within the infrastructure, building and plant industries. He has successfully implemented an IMS in his previous company which was certified by the AD EHSMS. Matthew Cox Vice-Chairman / Secretary Matt is a NEBOSH qualified Safety professional with 23 years of professional management experience within both the FMCG and Construction Industry sectors. An IIRSM member since 2010, Matthew is currently active within the IIRSM focus groups working with the UAE Ministry of Labour to review and re-draft the Health & Safety legislation of UAE . Treasurer AbdullatifAlbitawi Abdullatifis a Chartered Chemical Engineer holding an MSC in Energy Studies from the University of Sheffield (UK). Abdullatif has 14 years of experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries with expertise across process control, HSE process and technology, environmental management, QA and energy conservation.
