  3. IAM MISSION "The International Academy of Management (IAM) promotes, supports and develops excellence in management practice, recognition and training and provides international links and networks for all those involved in business management"

Core Values • The development of ethical people management skills • The development of transparency in management actions • The promotion of integrity in business activities • The introduction and development of Equal Opportunities polices • The recognition of social, cultural and ethnic issues in Human Resource Management

  5. Membership Levels • Affiliate Member A.F.I.A.M. Students and applicants with limited business experience • Associate Member A.I.A.M. Applicants with management/academic/professional qualification. For example a certificate in management • Member M.I.A.M. Applicants with general management experience management/academic/professional qualifications. Eg a relevant first degree and/or diploma in management. • Fellow F.I.A.M. Applicants with significant management experience and/or those who hold a recognised higher level of management/academic/professional qualifications. Masters Qualification or MBA.

Accreditation Council • An independent body which performs • Recognition, Designation and Accreditation functions • Membership application evaluation against the Academy's operational criteria. • Council members are drawn from a range of academic, management and professional backgrounds from across the international community.
