  1. Tantallon Elementary Safe Arrival Program** Volunteers Needed ** The Tantallon Safe Arrival program is in need of parent volunteers for both the Senior and Junior buildings. The Safe Arrival program has been an integral part of classroom daily attendance to ensure the students of Tantallon Elementary are safe and accounted for on a daily basis. Parents are required to call the Safe Arrival Message line to report the absence of their child. The role of the Safe Arrival Volunteer is to check the messages against the daily attendance. In Office Message retrieved and crosschecked with the attendance, calls made to any missing students contacts who have not been reported as excused. From Volunteers can call the Safe Arrival message line and email the name of all the students reported Home missing for the day back to the office who will then contact the home Please contact: Senior Building: Donna Maas dmaas@hrsb.ns.ca 902 826 1200 Junior Building: Rae Bell rbell@hrsb.ns.ca 902 826 1204
