What is IAC? • Began in 1990 as grassroots Hepatitis B Coalition of MN to prevent hepatitis B in SEA refugee kids • Now a publisher of information on all VPDs and vaccines for children and adults • 13 dedicated staff • IAC funding sources: • CDC, vaccine companies, foundations, professional organizations, and the public

What is IAC? • Mission: disease prevention • By keeping health professionals informed about current vaccine recommendations, the practical matters --- clear, concise, accurate. • By providing information about technical aspects of vaccine delivery, print materials, and how to do it, making it clear, concise, and accurate. • By providing materials for the public • By involvement in vaccine policy discussions
