  3. Some Points from their questionnaire-what route of questioning did they go down and why? We walked around our school Playground during Lunch Time asking KS2 children some questions about there personal point of view of there enjoyable playground. Swimming Pool – 120 Sandpit - 120 Zip wire - 75 Climbing Frame - 45

  4. Images of the Playground-with Annotation if required • At school we were making models of our initial ideas of our redesigned Calthorpe Project.

  5. Budget • Our that has been given to us is £500. • We’re trying to use our money wisely while also trying to get items that children will enjoy and use. • Using information from the Market Research.

  6. What physical things we have decided to keep? Why? • Wooden Playing Frame: Every decent park needs a playing frame, which is not too over the top and we do not need to spend money on, as it is already built within the play park.

  7. What physical things we have decided to change? Why? • Zipwires made out of a Tyre, Wire and Steel Chain. • Sand Pit made out of wood. • Swings made out of wood, chain and a Rubber Tyre.

  8. What else will we change and add e.g. Colour/Puzzles/Mazes • Colour of Walls • Zipwires, Climbing Frame, Sandpit, Roundabout, Swings, Mazes & Hopscotch

  9. Material we have chosen to use? Why? • In our Market Research we found out that children aged 7-11 like Zipwires. • Rubber Tyres for Zipwire, Tunnels & Tyre Swings because it doesn't cost to much. • Wood for raise the Raised Wooden Platform to another level.

  10. Overall Costings • Spruce Wood x2 - £79 • Master Lock Vinyl Covered Steel Chain 1m x 6mm - £18.98 • Petzl Tandem Zip WireTrolley - £79.95 • Overall Costing = 177.93

  11. Statement of why people of Calthorpe should choose our design over any others • The Frank Knights should pick our group as we are using mainly Recycled, and not too expensive items; Rubber Tyres, Wood, Rope, etc… • The money that we have used has not exceed target.
