¡Feliz Día De La Madre! Mayo Florece No lo puedo creer pero ya a llegado el fin del año escolar. El ultimo día de escuela será el 3 de junio. Los estudiantes han hecho grandes logros en lectura este año. Ahora hemos empezado con poesía para reforzar nuestras habilidades de escritura. Seguimos trabajando en vocabulario y habilidades de gramática cada semana, y examinamos la importancia de usar un diccionario. Esto es un instrumento mayor en ayudar a los estudiantes en que aprenden lo que las palabras significan, como ellos son pronunciados y las partes de la oración que ellos pueden usar. Por favor siga animando a sus hijos a leer durante el verano, con un diccionario práctico. Proveeré información provechosa antes del final del año. En Matemáticas, aprenderemos estrategias de multiplicación y división. Además, seguiremos trabajando con fracciones. Los temas de probabilidad y puntos decimales también serán cavados antes de junio. ¿La parte más emocionante de mayo? ¡¡Nuestro paseo al Zoológico de Brookfield el 20 de mayo!! Happy Mother’s Day! May is Blooming I can’t believe it’s true but the end of the school year is here! Our last day of school is June 3rd. In the meantime, please make sure that your completed registration packet is returned to the school office no later than May 7th. Students have made great achievements in literacy this year. We have begun our Poetry Workshops to enhance our writing skills. We continue to work on weekly vocabulary and grammar skills, and we are reviewing the importance of using a dictionary. It is the greatest tool in helping students learn what words mean, how they are pronounced and the parts of speech they can use with words. Please continue to encourage your children to read during the summer, and keep a dictionary handy. I will provide you with helpful information before the end of the year. In Math, we will be learning double-digit multiplication and division strategies. Additionally, we will continue working with fractions. The topics of probability and decimal points will also be delved into before June. The most exciting part of May? Our field trip to Brookfield Zoo on May 20th!! Information about the has been sent home, and permission slips are due on May 7th. To prepare for the trip, we will continue working on our Zoo Books, with lots of great activities that will teach us about our furry friends! in Room 27 Your children are beautiful souls.
